I ordered the buttcap for my son's pistol from Cabin Creek. It may be appropriate for a Bucks County pistol.

You can always make one.  They aren't terribly difficult.

Thats for a spurred butcap. This is for the Kentucky buttcap. It's a lot easier to make.

Rolf, viewing your tutorial, I was wondering if a railroad spike might be used as a punch.  Cut the tip off square, and polish the head.  Seems like it might do the job.

Yip,  I'm no expert, but all I've used to make a brass cap for a pistol is a hardwood block, and a gouge.
This gives me the indent to swage the brass into. Anneal the brass often, and trim as required. It's more time consuming than difficult. If you want a fancy gargoyle type cap,I believe that MBS is one supplier who can provide these. Hope this helps.

Could work if you rounded the corners so they don't dig into the brass.
If I was to make a punch, I'd use round Stock and turn one end domed.
