Can I see some of your scabbards???
In the past I kept all my rifles in hard cases...being so careful not to bump or ding them...
but as I got older, I started making scabbards to keep and transport them in...and have never looked back!
Every time I buy a new powder burner, I spend a couple days and make a scabbard.
My dad was a saddle maker so I learned from the best.  Hand stitched and razor cut.
Super soft yet thick enough to protect the goods!
and guys at the range always wonder whats inside of them!  lol

beat down cow hide super soft.  If they arent soft enough...I drag them behind the truck for a while.  seriously!
I like making my scabbards look old.

get a photo of it when youre done John!  I'd love to see it.
I'll keep making them as long as my fingers hold up.
my dad can barely move his any longer   thanks to his hand stitching for years and years.
