Restoring a Norwegian Navy Flintlock pistol

Hi Guys! Here is a pistol so needs som repear. Take the Wood missing first. Big pistol ca 21-1/4" long and barrel ca 13-3/4" barrel made late 1600s and New Stock i beginning of 1700s the experts dont agry the mod year!

Hi all! Wood ramrod made, With 1mm brass plate nailed to the front. Iron parts in water batch, yes its rustremover the OLD way and it work!

Very nice job...you repaired what was needed, without destroying the integrity of the piece. Marvelous job matching/blending the new with the old. I love it!

Runer, wonderful work.  I suggest you peen the top of the breechplug tang and move that metal back where someone has tried to remove the breech plug.  Fairly easy job and makes things look much nicer.  I really enjoy your posts.  By the way, I am restoring at present a nice English flintlock pistol.  Am enjoying the work a lot, but I am not brave enough to post pictures.  Keep up the good work.  I always look forward to following you along.  I learn a lot from your talents.  Wormey

Thank you guys! pjmcdonald, I use water statin Walnut powder start light color and darker and darker to Math the original ;)
