Tumblers for brass parts, anybody use them?

I know it’s not at all traditional, but I was just wondering if anybody use’s tumblers to clean their brass parts.
Sure makes my reloading brass look shiny, and new.Jim

Hey Jim..., you could always try it and see how it works.  I would suspect that with cast parts, it really wouldn’t get rid of the rough casting surface, just shine it up.  I would think that it might also have a tendency to round edges quite a bit.  For furniture made of sheet brass, it might work better..., but with sheet brass, it’s really easy to polish anyway, so not sure it would be much of an advantage.  Best,

Same with brass vibrating machines, I would think. Some rounding and just general polishing.

I use a tumbler with stainless steel media and a cleaning solution for my reloading brass and it is definitely shinier and very clean after it comes out, if you really look at the surface it has an appearance that reminds me more of a brushed finish than a polished finish. I have never used one of the vibratory cleaners with the corn cob or walnut media.
