Converting a percusion to flintlock....
« on: April 05, 2020, 05:52:03 PM »
I recently bought a used Pedersoli Mortimer pistol (caplock).  I would like to convert it to flintlock, but don't have any experience with a project like this.  I know that Pedersoli offers locks and replacement parts, but before going out and spending more money, I was wanting to see if anyone has any advice or recommendations.

Thanks
Todd

My pistol is both flint and caplock. It uses different barrels as well as locks.
If your gun has a drum you could simply change the lock & install a vent liner
or use an entirely different barrel.
