A sight for sore eyes

Maineshops:
What do you folks suggest for old eyes. Pushing 80 and have macular degeneration so I need something bold or large or ?? Thanks. Dan

I'm a couple decades behind, but I have Astigmatism.  Peep Sights are helpful if you don't want to go with a scope.

 I've been putting Marvel Arms Bullseye Sights on my leverguns.
Can't quite bring myself to put one on my Firelocks just quite yet, tho'.

I've had macular degeneration for many years but it's been getting worse in a hurry for the past 8 yrs...my right eye is now "wet" and receives a shot every 6 wks. Have quit building and hunting because I can't see the details any longer and the front sight isn't there.   I'm 88 and can manage my daily tasks w/ the use of  2-1/2X and 3-1/2X Optivisors. Evidently you can see the sights.....just need them to be a bit bigger? Towards the end of my hunting I used a front sight that had a  .100 wide blade  w/ a silver insert soldered in and the notch in the rear sight had a whole lot of "daylight" on both sides of the blade and surprisingly,  this combo  was quite accurate and enabled me to  head hit many squirrels.
