F.C.I. barrel
« on: April 29, 2020, 01:26:36 AM »
Couple of weeks ago I received my Charlie Burton F.C.I barrel.
That I ordered at the C.L.A. show. It's slightly tapered an in 38 caliber. It's got round bottom rifling.
Well the point is IT'S beautiful...there are absolutely no machine marks on it...Period..! I waited to open the tube up because I don't like draw filling..it's a quirk of mine.. But this is the second barrel from Charlie an neither one needed it...
Just thought I would let people know how satisfied I am...
 Thanks again Charlie..Well done...Oldtravler

I have built a couple guns from his barrels now. top notch stuff. I have to call him and order a Eddie Marshal barrel.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Good info, guys...since my bank account is supposed to get “stimulated” soon, I need to give my fellow eastern Kentuckian a call...
