cow horn powder measure

Hello
Just wanted to share a photo of my powder measures ,  very easy to make using a white tipped cow horn , a dremel for drilling out the center , flat file and a round chainsaw file ! I first saw this design > book Steele Canvas : the Art of American Arms . by R L Wilson.

Ditto. I have a tip from a Texas longhorn I'd like to make (or have someone make) into a measure. It has swirls and lines of brown and green throughout... I think it would be unique.

I just have to get a pet load developed so I know how many grains it would need to be.

Sheepsfoot, one thing I can say about this forum is that you will get real opinions here, as we have expert and highly artistic craftsmen in every facet of the hobby and collectors with high standards who all post regularly. If you get a full page of praise here for your powder measures you do good work. Cool stuff. I look forward to seeing your other work.
