Bag #29 - Two Buckles and Stitches

Hi Folks,
I just finished up a bag that is a little different for me. I added tapered gussets at each side that extend up and become stub straps. A buckle on each side. A long strap with adjustments on each end. I have my usual stiffener in the back. The bag is hand stitched as is the flap in a ray pattern. All out of cowhide except the rolled top edge out of buckskin. Three flattened roundballs are in between the layers of the flap to keep it closed. God Bless, Marc

That's a good looking bag, as is # 28.
Nice clean, sharp work.

Very nice as always Marc. Top shelf work! The stitching on the flap adds a lot of dimension to the bag.

Nice ! Creative on the tapered gussets on the sides. Seems like that element could also be worked in on a open top bag if a person took a notion too.

Marc, as my old man would say, you are a tough cat to clean after. I absolutely love the color of this one, along with all your design features...you are certainly developing a distinctive style.
Another great one!

In looking at the bag from the front, those straps remind me of ears.....
