I'd like to get some pics of it if I could.. one shot straight into the plugs face <showing the flash channel )
then the normal front, back and side views..

Dag,
Do you mean a hooked, patent breech like would be found on an Alex Henry rifle?

I've got 3 different ones.  They are castings.  An original Rigby, a Rod England, and a Pete Allen.  The last one is a 1 incher.  The others are 1-1/8".

I'll try to get you some pics when I have time.

As an aside, Pecatonica should carry the 1" ones in stock.  However, you have to use the L&R bar lock and drip bar with that set-up.

Dave,

I'd appreciate the pics, when you can! I'm not building a English gun, I was just trying to see if I could find a suitable plug for a couple of the other guys talking English rifles..
and if nothing else, I could try and machine one or two just for giggles and the extra machine shop practice.

Covid shot a hole in my advanced Machine shop class this semester.. waiting to see if we get to go into the shop in June?? online shop instructions, leaves something to be desired  :P
especially since I'm a visual learner.. Watching a lot of Youtube guys and their techniques!

Pics as promised.  Left to right--castings from original Rigby, Pete Allen, Rod England.  Reversed in last picture.  Should be hi-def, so clicking on them will yield larger pics.  Center one is 1", others are 1-1/8"

Maybe someone with CNC equipment could come up with a better lock for
these rifles.I have no more interest in making them or any other locks.
If these are going to be produced by casting I think X rays should be used
as an inspection tool like the Hawken Shop did when Art Resell owned it.
