Thanks for those Keith.  Yes they hang upsidedown and that might be a good way to shoot that target...maybe makes the head a little bolder looking - more discernible.  It'll be dark here in another four and a half hours...not much time left for this month's shoot my friends.
I'll post the winners in the morning.  Thanks to the 16 of us who made the effort - some very nice shooting this month.

Randy and I shot 3 targets today not good results. I’m posting 1 of them. Had 2 zeroes and a -12. Randy took some more of my qrtrs again he’s not proud.

Good shooting by many who posted.  Off hand scores aside. it's the group sizes that impressed me.
There are a few that look to be in the 1 1/2 in to 1 3/4 in range, and that ain't too shabby  :)

Another member told me to take my 36 cal Mowrey Squirrel rifle that I built 40 years ago (and haven't shot since then) and do the squirrel shoot.  So I shot yesterday and today.  Fun rifle.

Taylor I was only able to get out once to shoot your target. I've either been to busy or it has been way too windy. However I really enjoyed this target and made quite a few copies of it. I' am planning to use it as a re-entry target at our state summer rendesvous.
Also I will be using it right before squirrel season. I think it makes a great tune up target. Thanks very much .

I'm impressed with the shooting too,  In spite of the tricky target.  Those body shots were killers in a lot of cases.  We had 17 shooters enter which is a good turn out I think.  The top scores were very close, and even closer were the honourable mentions that fell just short.
Here are the results:  3rd place - Shrub 47,  2nd place Dowrat, and in first place (again) Justin.  I am going to require the mailing addresses of those three lads so I can send them their prizes.  I want to say thanks too to all those who gave nice feed back.

Justin:  time to come up with a postal shoot for July, old buddy.

Thanks for putting on a fun and challenging shoot Taylor. Congrats to everyone else as well. I'll work on a new match for July today. Maybe we'll step back to 50 yds.

Shot my June target with a little .36 caliber southern rifle I built form a block of curly maple. 000 buckshot (measures .350), 35 grains of 3fG GOEX powder, bear grease on the patch. I scored it as 25.

I'm enjoying the monthly shoots. Good shooting guys.  Darryl

I'd score that as 30 pts.
