Forget the Marking Knife...Finished
« on: June 02, 2020, 06:44:59 PM »
Instead of an1850's Marking (Kiridachi) knife, I cut the file at the end mark and forged somewhat of a regular knife.  It hasn't been assembled yet as I still need to drill my mounting pin holes, quench, and temper before I can finish it up...tippit

Very, very, nice. That is a combination of polish and forge marks I could like.

I really like that one.  Is it going to be for sale?

I like that a lot better than a marking knife. Very nice.

Well for a crazy idea, this knife evolved from that file...finished with hand sanded blade.

It's a beauty!  I like how you kept the bottom curve from the horn to the underside of the blade - it flows in a balanced fashion.
