Now for some specs on these little items.
The bag on the left is about 3 1/2 wide and roughly 5 7/8 long with a 5/8 bore for roundballs up to 62 cal. The spout turned from a piece of translucent horn with a turned cherry clothespin stopper.
The bag on the right is 7 1/2 long and only 2 5/8 wide at the bottom but only has a 1/2" diameter for small caliber roundballs. The rather tall spout is turned from Mexican Cocobolo with an Apple turned stopper. Again, in a clothespin style.
This little gem is made using barktanned Black Bear with a small tuft of hair on the front. The spout was turned from horn with a cherry clothespin stopper. About 3 3/4 inches wide and only 5 7/8 high and a 5/8 diameter for up to 62 cal roundballs.
These two made using some light browned barktanned deer hide then oiled a bit. The one on the left only 2 7/8 wide by about 5 inches tall using a turned piece of horn for the spout. The stopper turned from a piece of Apple and is a great size for the small caliber hunter. Think tree rats. The bag on the right is 7 5/8 long and only 1 7/8 wide at the bottom. A piece of turned antler for the spout with turned clothespin Cherry for the stopper and is sized for roundballs up to 62 cal.
Both bags made using barktanned deerhide with turned spouts of antler and turned clothespin stoppers of Ash. Both have a 7/16" bore for the small caliber hunter/shooter. The bag on the left is roughly 7" long and only 1 1/2" wide while the bag on the right is 3 1/2" wide and only 4 1/2" high.
Lastly, this little bag was made with the smoothie hunter in mind. Sewn using veg tanned Goat with a turned spout from Horn and a turned Cherry clothespin stopper. Diameter of the spout is 1/2" and now holds over 12 1/2 oz of shot. Attached is a turned shot charger from Osage Orange and holds 1 oz of shot. It is marked with one stripe. The other one in the pic is likewise made the same, but is marked with 2 stripes indicating 1 1/4 oz. Not in the picture is a 3rd piece that measures out 1 1/2 oz and has 3 stripes.
