Since size is the subject, I guess I should have included something in the picture to fix perspective.
This thing is kinda small [ the head is 4 5/8" long, with a 2" blade; the haft is 12" long]. It is light , but well balanced and 'handy', which I figure contributes to greater precision in use and easy packing. It ought to serve well for splitting a pelvis or shaping a tent stake, and everything in between. Dropping cherry trees, I dunno.
