This is just a word of caution, if you intend to enter a Lehigh rifle for judging/critique at Dixon's Fair. I've only entered two rifles, and both happened to be Lehigh rifles - a Herman Rupp with flames nose piece, and a Jacob Kuntz, after two that are on display in the MET in NY. Both have closed-end nose pieces, in reality and replication, and I lost points for it at the fair. In fact, my category was changed to Contemporary from Traditional because of the diversion from the stereotype, with the last effort, the Kuntz. So, be aware that most Lehigh rifles are open ended nose pieces.
