Picture doesn’t show it very well but it goes from octagon to 16 sides a couple of inches before the first rings.

Not much else to see, just a nice old smooth rifle in attic condition. 54 caliber, 46 inch barrel.

Great old smooth rifle, in well preserved, 'as found' condition. Wear patterns are just the best. The patchbox is very nice and has an early look to it. Leckner built a mighty fine guns and this one is one of them. Thank you for bringing it in to be seen. Much appreciated!
