Knives - New Pictures
« on: July 26, 2020, 09:13:38 PM »
All of these are sold , just sharing pictures . Took a break from gun work to get caught up on my knife customer list and things got out of hand. Here are some of the antler handled knives, more pictures to come

Great looking knives. But then all your work looks good be it knives or guns. I dont remember ever seeing a horn that you have made but id bet it would look good too

Outstanding knives.  I doubt they could be made any better....by anyone.  I particularly like the antler handles.  They are beautiful!!

Thanks everyone! A few more - again all
of these were made for customers, just sharing pictures

Probably 1084 steel for all the blades and Iron fittings on all of them . This first one has curly sugar maple scales, one of only 3 full tang knives in this recent knife making adventure. The other two are bone , still under construction

Another with a turned handle, this one curly ash. Have been doing more of these ferrules / bolsters with a slightly thicker face plate and let the lip overhang a bit. Even on the bigger knives it can be kind of nice for fingertip control, and I like the look of it. Gives me another edge to grace with scratches and dents too

Going to get some better shots of this one before it goes home, but here's a preview! Neat piece of wormy pecan for the handle. Wrought iron bolster and there's a slightly domed butt cap you can't see from this angle , new photos soon

Isn’t this one of yours?  Most amazing knife I’ve ever seen.  Love it!
