Bent the barrel yesterday per D. Taylor's number drill method and Bobby Hoyt's feedback. Got it to 2" left of center with tight groups on the first try. I forgot that I had only had a few .672 balls(yes, they were patched) to use so the final bend(I hope) will have to wait. As Bobby said, an iron barrel bends easily compared to steel. The deflection was not nearly as severe as what I've seen in photos of steel barrels being bent.
