This is a "Mongo punch horse in face" kind of barrel inlet.










If the project doesn't work out, I'll just nail the stock above my front door and use it as a gutter.

Yeah, my solution to the big inlet was to drop in the water pipe.  It mates nicely with a lock that weighs a pound and a half. No wall gun, just the standard issue British musket.  Dave Price, it helps if you saw the movie Blazing Saddles, the most historically accurate and best western ever made.

Ooh but I better stain the sawdust first?   Actually guys, the water pipe fits really well. I think I'll go with that. Now if I could only pick the butt plate up off the bench by myself.  I might have to get a friend to help.
