First Shots - New to me

If you follow the for sale items you know that Marc Tornichio recently posted a pair of rifles for sale that he made a few years back to order for a customer. We purchased the cap-lock. Cap-lock's are somewhat foreign to our shooting style but the wood and features of that rifle were just too compelling. It arrived last Thursday and we went out Friday to see how it shoots. What you see here are three shots, YES THREE, by three different people using point of aim info provided by the original owner. The target was set at 25 yards as we expected we would need some adjustments. 20 gr, .018 patch and a 36 cal. That's one fine shooting rifle!

I reckon it shoots!
That is a beautiful rifle you bought. I am glad you did. I cannot afford another right now, but I was sorely tempted.
God Bless, Marc

Glad to hear Molly. I’m a bit jealous as I came so close to pulling the trigger on that one. She’s a beaut. Well bought.

And the seller was an outstanding Gentleman. Strange how you connect to people you have never met just because of "an old gun".

Good buy, Molly - it's so nice 'coming together' so quickly.

I think the rifle and the shooting are both impressive, Molly.
