They make awesome overlays and limb tips on recurves and longbows.

I think it would make an awesome powder horn, if the hollow part extends up into or through the curl.

If you don't want the other one, I'd be happy to take it off your hands, for a price even.  If nothing else, it would make a fine Shofar!

How far does the hollow go? I was thinking Shofar myself.

I've listened to a shot at for 76 years but have never handled one. Good question if it's hollow or hollowed? Hollowing would be a good trick with the extreme twist.

Bet there are some handgun grips makers that would pay well for that as material.

A shofar nicely done would bring a healthy return.

Here is a "powder flask" from the National Museums of Scotland:

It is described as "Powder flask of ram's horn, silver mounted with inscription relating to the 1715 Jacobite Rising, 18th century."

If you want to see the webpage with more complete information, here is a link:  Ram's Horn Powder Flask

Finally, sorry for the delay, the farthest i could go was 13 inches with a small wire , i couldn’t go deeper because the wire started bending so i figure a few more inches.
Mmm maybe a winter project and with the covid roaming around why not
