Who’s lock is this?
« on: August 09, 2020, 02:54:39 AM »
I just got a few of these kits in a trade. Are there any good guesses as to its origin? The plate is just under 5 3/4” x just under 1”. My only guess is TRS. I may be trying to find a new home for them.

I THINK it's a Ketland kit from the 1960's.I have a feeble memory of this one
and I put one together for Andy Baker and made my own mainspring and sear
spring. The origin would be the long Kaput International Arms Co, in Livonia, Michigan
that was owned by Harold Hess and later Jerry Devaudreuil in Wooster,Ohio.

Not sure where this came from, but these are certainly from molds pulled from original parts.  Too nice for anything modern ;).  If you'd like to part with a set, let me know.

All the best,
Jim
