That rifle came out very nicely.  You have to be happy with that one. 

I really like the engraving on the side plate, where there are "missing" sections that you eye fills in.  I don't know what you call that style, but I think it looks super.

I think it would be referred to as 'negative space' in Art...?  Jim Kibler gets credit for the base Carving and Engraving designs, as I emulated from ones that he posted on his website.

I'm always happy when a build finds a new home; this time a prospective buyer came from an unexpected direction - my Kid's Welding Instructor.

I'm looking forward to my next build...

..but which one?  Kibler?? Chambers?? TOW?? or ??

Lock gets a simple fire bluing...

....and it's done!

Rifle will be presented to it's new owner this weekend.





I customarily inlet a Quarter with the year of manufacture in the Patchbox and provide a Pin Punch for disassembly.

Richard, your work is crisp, clean, and a delight to the eye. And I'll bet that the buyer will say that it is a delight to the hand, also.
