Does anyone have reference material regarding when HBC stopped using the Tombstone Fox Cartouche?  I am thinking somewhere between 1870 and 1890

Very good guess!
The absolute latest one that I have reference for is a tombstone marked Barnett Northwest gun dated 1900.
