My portable walk around stand. Not much to look at but it works for me.

   I really like mine and I have done everything on it from a rifle blank to pre carved stocks. When you get into shaping a stock from a blank you need a heavy vise on a heavy work bench, but inletting locks, triggers, BP, etc. It can be done on a portable work bench. Best thing is you can use it anywhere, spring and fall is great, when you can work outside.
   Tip Curtis had a few of these he called a finishing bench, that's where I first got the idea but I made mine a little more heavy duty than his.    Al
