Just finished knife
« on: September 07, 2020, 04:22:38 PM »
Recently finished knife with 8 1/2” x 1 1/4” x 3/16” 1084 steel blade with 7 1/2” false edge forged iron guard, iron wedding band bolster, turned curly maple handle finished with aqua fortis and a silver pommel cap and peened through tang.  The bag was just received from James Rogers (the picture doesn't do it justice, truly a beautiful piece of work) and the horn is the work of Mr. Billy Griner which I traded for at the Alabama Longrifle Show last January.

Wowsers. Woodbury indeed, if they struck oil and decided against going to Beverly Hills. As we say around here, "Sexy as hay-ul."

That photo should be the cover of a magazine.

This beautiful knife deserves a James Rogers sheath to match.   :-)
