Got a problem?

I went shooting today, and the ramrod tip came off at the bottom of my barrel...how do i get it out???

How about a CO2 discharger?  It should expel the tip at a fairly low velocity, and if the tip is brass there shouldn't be any danger of damaging the bore.

Would that work for a flintlock?

It should, although you'd need a flint adapter for your discharger.   I improvised one once using the inflation needle like you'd use to blow up a volleyball or basketball.

Is it just a ramrod tip, or is it a tip and jag and patch?  How tight is the tip stuck?  And is there powder and ball under the ramrod tip?

Then a CO2 discharger should work.    (I got mine from Cabelas)

If one's not handy, you could try sending a patch worm down on a field rod and try to snag the edges of the patch. First clean the bore from the jag back to the muzzle to reduce friction.   Then if you can get ahold of the patch edges,  you may be able to pull the whole mess out.

Or, if the ramrod was a wooden one, there may be enough wood inside the tip where you could screw a ball-puller screw into the wood, and pull it out.

Short of unbreeching, those are the   ideas I can think of.

For heaven's sake, make sure whatever you shoot into will stop the jag.  Back in the mid-seventies, a gunsmith friend of mine was cleaning a new caplock rifle and he had just mentioned that one of the things he had to do was to pin the jag on the ramrod when the dang jag came off in the barrel.  "Not to worry" he says and proceeds to remove the nipple and pack about 5 grains of powder behind the jag.  He explained that I would do the same thing if I ever loaded a gun without powder. Gee...I can't remember ever doing that.

Anyway, he proceeded to cover two truck winter treads with cardboard and then laid an old deer skin, with the hair on, over the cardboard.  He explained that the deer skin would catch the jag when he fired the gun.  WRONG!!  He placed a cap on the nipple and squeezed the trigger.  The gun didn't make mutch more noise than the cap going off but it not only sent that jag through the deer skin and cardboard but it went through a sidewall of the first tire and lodged in the sidewall of the second tire!  Man was he ever miffed. 

So when you get your jag out of your barrel Pintail, drill a little hole through it and the ramrod and peen a little pin through it.

the CO2 gizmo's work well. With a tight jag - it'll gain considerable velcoity - incredible, actually - make certain your back-stop is up to it.

BTW - you might try compressed air first with the same safty precautions
