I picked this up a while back and was curious as to if anyone could help me I.D it before I decide to repurpose it. It’s rather large at 12 inches over all length. The blade is right at 8 inches. The gaurd ( if that’s not what that’s cAlled please forgive me),is brass with pewter poured around it. It looks like the blade is held in my a pewter rivet coming up through the bottom of the handle... I’m not that familiar with older knives, so any I.D. Help, along with a ball park value,will be greatly appreciated.
