Are you going to engrave it at all?

Glad to see your working again Scott. That's a great horn I like the double twist. Is that one from your old stash?

Great looking horn Scott and I love the contrast of the color between the antler and base plug.  You picked a good candidate for the horn, I love double twisters.

Wow!  Just thinking of what went into getting 8 perfect pannels on a horn that long gives me a major headache!  I can't wait to see that one finished.  Love the turned antler tip balanced off by the turned antler knob.  Sweet touch!

Well, here is the finished product. I'm not sure i like it, it might have to grow on me. But, I think i got it sold already. So much for my taste! It is 21" overall. The tip is antler, the knob is antler, the black spots are pegs of buffalo horn and the disc in the base is flattened cow horn.

Sometimes I think horns are like fishing lures just cause I like em doesn't mean the fish will and vice verse.
Really nice finish and the design on the base looks great.

Scott:

I love the look you achieved on this horn. Horns with panels have always appealed to me for some reason. The base plug and tip are great too. It all flows together really well.

Keep up the great work. Your book got me started making horns as well. I still pick it up and look through for reference material.

Thanks,

Jeff

I saw that horn the other day on the CLA page.  I think that is the most beautiful horn I have ever seen.
