I didn't feel it was appropriate to post this on Eric K.'s thread , however it's a real coincidence that I'm working on a similar stocked piece . It's a 20 bore with a 12 inch oct / round barrel from C. Burton.
It was a means of rescuing what was originally a pistol, however, the laws being what they are here in Canada, this will no longer require a restricted firearms license, as it originally would have.
The should stock is added on , glued and lag bolted ...it's permanent.
Guard is wood and large, much like the trade guns, for ease of use with mitts. There's still shaping to do, but this gives the general idea. It will have sling swivels, which will only add to it's handiness
