Rice barrel?

Is this a Rice barrel? The "R" stamped on the barrel is quite different from the logo displayed at the Rice website. It's a 44'" octagon to round barrel with a single weeding band.

The supplier I purchased it from wouldn't tell me who the maker was only that "You'll like it."

I agree, I prefer the 16 bore, have built 3 of them, still have the last one for myself. It might be me but I think I can shoot same amount of shot at same velocity as the 20 and have less recoil which as I get older helps a lot.
