Antique Horn
« on: November 07, 2020, 06:14:14 AM »
This is a nice little horn that was given to me by an elderly man my grandmother took care of.  They lived in Massachusetts.  The plug appears to be walnut and is secured by small square nails.  There is a thin red strip around the base of the horn.  The initials C C A and the year 1840 are carved into the base plug.  The base also has a small hole in it, likely from a nail or similar point of attachment.  Sorry for the picture arrangement.  This was my first try.
