How to view old images that appear blank
« on: November 09, 2020, 09:10:49 PM »
Hello,

Looking on several threads about building rifles, and many of them are blank to me.   I can see some images but not all.  Is there any way of being able to view these older images?  Very frustrating as I would like to see the work and techniques being described.  Thanks!!

Frod:  It takes a committment to post a series of images, especially when using the old Photobucket system.  And then to have to start all over may be too much to ask for some contributors.  And it may be that those photo files have been deleted by their owners, and may not even be available anymore at any cost.  the moderators have asked those who are able to please replace the images from tutorials lost to the Photobucket fiasco.
It might be useful to post a thread link in your question.  That would narrow it down as to what pictures are required.

Post a link to the threads and I will resurrect what I can. When we had an upgrade, images with a “http” link became invisible. They can be fixed by editing to “https”. A moderator or original poster can do this.

I am in the midst of building a couple of Rifle Shoppe kit guns (Baker rifle and Ferguson rifle), and very interested in the threads pertaining to them.

Here are some:

those photos were photo bucket photos and aparently photobucket no longer is hosting them. So--they cannot be viewed because they do not exist unless someone copied them back then.

I have replaced many of mine. If it is one of mine you want to see, let me know. I still trying to sort out what I was able to recover from Photobucket. Dirt bags!

The two links I provided are now able to be seen.  Thanks!   There may be others as I investigate the various threads.  May I repeat the question for additional threads I may find??

FRod:  if you send me an email (dtaylorsapergia@gmail.com) I can send you any of the pictures I still have on file.  I have files for both the Ferguson and the Baker.
