It is about 9" around the outside curve not counting the stopper and 7 tip-to-tip. It is about 2 1/2 X 7/8ths at the base. The base us held in by four iron pins and covered with a Brass plate that is held by the Six Brass tacks. The tip is antler held with three iron pins. Carla did the amazing painting. Tim C.

A complement like that coming from a professional photographer is good to hear. Actually I subscribe to the Bill Shipman school of photography, over cast day and a digital camera. The cameras are not much, a Cannon PowerShot A2300 HD and an older Cannon PowerShot A620. I use an editor for cropping and positioning but other than that they're pretty much how they come off the camera. Sometimes it takes 8 or 10 shots to get 3 or 4 good ones, Tim
