After reading awhile ago the gorgeous topic from Mike Lyons on his build, I started myself to create my version.

What kind of knotting/weaving/Macramé,etc...is used to make the bag?  That in itself is a nice piece of work.

I searched on you tube on macramé knotting and found there the knots I used, bought some thin cotton macrame cord and started. In the beginning was a lot of cursing and swearing but finally I found it to accomplish 🙄

Thanks, I'll see what I can find. I forget about You Tube, it is one of the few sites that I can find useful information and navigate on.

Hawkeye, you did a fine job on that game bag!  I know how much work goes into even a simple German style bag, and really like the version you made.

Tim, a simple net bag can be made with only 3 different macrame knots...larks head, square knot, and overhand knot.  I’m no expert, having made exactly one bag, but there’s a ton of videos on YouTube to help out.  I’m planning to make another, larger foraging bag before mushroom season this spring. I want something about haversack size, with a shoulder strap.

Thank you Greg, that's I found out to about the knots. You Tube is a great source on knotting. And takes some elbow grease 😜
