Just received this fine rifle from Don about 2 weeks ago. 50 cal, 42in barrel and Chambers lock. Kept it pretty basic along the lines of his "Boone Gun". I can't say enough great things about it! Balances beautifuly and points like a dream. Weighs almost exactly 7lbs. Just wanted to share some pictures with you guys. Thanks again Don!

I like it a lot. Don builds a good strong hunting rifle. Im lucky enough to have 3 of them.

The lines are wonderful and sleek on this rifle. I especially like the butt plate. Plain is what does it for me and this one is a beauty!

I always appreciate seeing another Don Bruton rifle and have one myself from a couple years back. That picture with the rifle leaning up against the tree is amazing. Congratulations in obtaining such a fine example!

Its probably the nicest thing I own! Took that picture on the way in from the stand with my phone... surprised it turned out that good!

Agreed. The fancy guns are cool but just not my style. To each his own. The hand forged butt plate and iron mounts put it over the top for me!

I don't think I've ever seen one of Don's gun that I didn't like. Classy work. I know you're proud of it.

Very nice. Anyone who is lucky enough to have anything Don makes is very lucky. Besides being a darn fine gun maker he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!
