Pistol project complete

Hey guys, several members ask me to list this pistol. Rice .54, 10" swamped barrel. Chamber's small Siler flint, brass hardware with sterling accents. Wood is a piece left over from my last rifle, curly sugar maple. Now I know why I haven't built another pistol in about 30 years. Photos are not the best, but I guess good enough. Thanks for taking a look, Tom Fornicola

Very nice. I can't do without a nice long barreled .54 pistol. They make a right handy bow range Deer getter. Super.

Thanks for the comments. Theses little guys are hard to hold during all phases of the build, very different than building a rifle. Making the butt cap from a sheet 260 brass was a job. John, I'll post photos of the rifle soon.

Very nice work. I specially like the heart on the sight. I have put hearts on a couple of pistols as well as on a rifle. The idea being to remind me what I'm supposed to be aiming at.
