It was nice chatting about your kill and the gun you used. When I first saw the photo, I told my wife that the gun looked familiar. The gun was originally built for one of (rdf) who post on this board. He had a very nice Don Getz 16 ga. barrel. The gun was built as a copy of an original Bucks Co. bloom fowler/musket. The original was built with a steel ramrod. The original Bloom gun also had carvings of the Indian princess /Liberty cap at the front of the lock panels much like the Antes swivel rifle. It was a nice fowler and made with quality parts, i hope you have much success with it in the future. It is always nice to follow your work and see it put to the use it was designed for. Ron
