I've made quite a few of those. You can check with Eric Ewing or James Rogers for references. What style and size did you have in mind ?.

I am pretty sure he just wants to know where to buy the correct size for one he is making.

I think all the "correct" ones are made by hand.

These are normally diamond mesh, fairly tight.  I've made such nets, but do not know who does so commercially.
Diamond mash is easy and fast.

This is a fairly typical bag and game bag for mid 19th century.

That's all beautiful work, James!
The European/British ones I've seen didn't have any fringe. Just plain -Jane .

Here's one of mine;

The leather belt attaches to the back of the main pocket at the top, and can be buckled to the strap you see on the bottom half.
This keeps both the main pocket and the net closed.

I should also say that "Over there" we didn't see nets hanging below the main bag;
This possibly because of more undergrowth /sticks etc that would catch a hanging net.

Richard,
I agree for English game bags. I have never seen any with fringes. I have only seen images of some early ones with tassels on the corners and sometimes center bottom as well. The 18th century English examples i have seen in images have the game bag as a stand alone item and not a part of a leather bag.
I have however seen quite a few continental bages with fringes. On my pc which is impossible to reach ATM. I have a lot of images of originals with fringe extensions. As with most of these surviving Euro bags of large size that incorporate a game net, they are later in my opinion than most of us want them to be.

James,
Your knowledge and experience with these is much greater than my own.  Thank you for the reply!

Actually I just try to gather all information I can and be ready to alter my view if the evidence leads there. Always looking for the perspective and observations of others keeps me from cutting ruts in my own tracks ; )
Personally,  there is no way I would want to tramp around my woods with a plethora of hangdowns. Did that as a teen with a wool waist sash I made and that thing picked up all manner of beggars lice and cuckleberries ; )

^ I was thinking the same thing. I can only imagine how tangled up that would get.

Actually, they don't tangle very easy at all. First, most are made with a very hard twisted linen or cotton string that resists attaching of junk. As with most gentleman past times on the continent , they occurred on wealthy properties with servants and such so I doubt they went into the briar.  They are traditionally for birding guns anyway so hunting would be in the fields and meadows. James, straiten me out here if  I'm on drugs. Thanks.

S.R....I think you’re on the money that the ornate, fringed, netted game bags that we know and love   weren’t worn by the dudes who’s job it was to jump into the bush.
That said...like J.R. says here...my own fringed game net picks up a ton of burdock and other annoying hitchhikers, because unlike a late 19th century lederhosen-clad gentleman, I do have to go into the bush to fetch dead squirrels and bunnies.

In the UK  an Europe there was an is a lot of covert shooting.   This means following the dog into thick stuff. No driven game at one time, no battues.
A sportsman had to dress for this thick and prickly stuff, and had to carry his own game most of the time, unlike field shooting, where horses were used for "charging the coveys" as Hawker would say.
In open country the game could be picked up and put in the game cart on larger shoots, but many gentlemen shot on their own, or  in a friends company, and had to carry what they shot.
Hunk of cheese and bread, and a raw onion in the pocket for a mid day respite.... all good sport!
