Bob Roller triggers
« on: January 26, 2021, 12:54:20 AM »
There has been some discussion about Bob Roller Triggers.  Here are photos of his standard trigger.  I believe the Hawken is the same mechanism with a longer plate

kind regards, heinz

Another nice surprise and it is unsolicited :D.These are my triggers for SMR and Ohio plus
other styles. These are made from 1018 cold finished steel and the bar is 3/8"wide and vary
in length from 5 and 1/4 inches to 5 and 1/2.The triggers are 3/16"thick  and are case hardened.
The Hawken types are the same material but usually are 1/2 inch wide and 10 inches long or close
to it. The triggers are 1/4 inches thick and case hardened.I make my own screws and and the pins
are 3/32  drill rod and the holes are drilled and REAMED for a close fit and if I have material I will send
a pin punch to push the pins out for inletting.NO castings are used and the front trigger spring is my
idea pertaining to a redundant spring. If one side cracks there is a back up built in to it.
What is seen in these photos are my opinion of the buyers and users who want them
Thanks again to Heinz Ahlers for this very nice surprise. This kind of exposure can not be bought.
