NMLRA Powderhorn ADA project
« on: January 28, 2021, 05:33:05 PM »
Here is the horn that the Honourable Company of Horners is working on to accompany  a Joseph Bogel Rifle and Jeff Luke bag. This ADA  horn project is a group project with the help of Henry Bowman, Eric Borneman, Joe D Baxter and Brett Davis. Henry made the horn body, Eric the Horn plug/base, Joe-D the spout tip and plug and I am doing the engraving. Stay tuned to the ADA write ups in Muzzleblasts. Here are a couple of photos.

Outstanding, nice engraving, especially like the oak leave and acorns.

Thanks so much to you and the rest of the team working on this horn. It’s been great to see it develop over the past few months. Can’t wait to see more.

Ferric nitrate, heat, wax and black tempera dry paint

Thanks! It looks great! I'll get this on the NMLRA Website now, thank you for the update.

The horn is great!

I want to publicly thank you and all the others that are working on this project to raise money for the new ADA bathrooms.

The new bathrooms will be a very nice addition to the NMLRA ranges.

I have my tickets out and will be sending them in with a check.

I may never make it to an event but knowing that things will be more accessible for folks in my situation is good to know.

Ethan, we will have to work out a time for you to come to the shop and I'll show you how to put all those ingredients together on a horn.
