Take a very close look at the top barrel flat several inches behind the rear sight, to see if there is any trace of the maker's initials or name. Even if only rusted traces, if anything is there, please post a good picture of it. After seeing the profile of the rifle - the suggested more complete photos of the gun instead of its many small areas - we can get a better idea of where it might come from, and then any trace of a maker's name may really help nail it down.
