Stonewall Creek Outfitters FYI
« on: September 06, 2009, 12:26:54 AM »
Picked up a lock today and was pleased to find that Troy and Shannon just got in a shipment of Ed Rayl 4 bore Blunderbuss barrels. These are the steel ones for 215.00.
I believe there was some mention of guys wanting these barrels some time ago.

He also had in some .75 cal. 46" Dutch musket barrels just in and a recent huge batch of black English flints.

Thought I would pass this on to anyone interested...... just leave me a 4 bore  ;D

Well, you are still in luck because they operate as a mail order company. They dont really have a storefront operation so you can just call em up and get one sent to your door.

I've bought a few barrels, couple of locks and other odds & ends from Troy and Shannon.  The customer service has been excellent.  They are great folks to do business with.

They do seem to be a pleasant more personal outfit to deal with.  I just ordered from them and got a nice personal call asking about a sight replacement as the one I ordered was not in stock.  No big deal for me as I modify them quite a bit anyway.  Got the order in the day before Friendship so they might have a little delay in orders until after.  Got my Rayl barrel in 25 from them and the lock.

They are good people to deal with. Its a family owned and run business. You will see Troy, his wife, son and often his mother-in-law working together at muzzle loading shows.
