Plinking with a flintlock rifle

It was a beautiful day to take out one of the flintlocks for some plinking. This is the Verner style rifle I built (.45 cal) that came to me from Pecatonica River Rifles. It's a fine, fast and very reliable gun.

Hi Cades Cove Fiddler, yes it's grand weather and ideal for black powder today! I went out front for a few shots and probably fired 20 rounds. Very relaxing and enjoyable.
