We have had a couple slots open up  for the Kibler kit  class July 19-24 at the NMLRA Education building. If you have a Kibler kit call the NMLRA and ask for Lora Parks to get signed up.   I don't know if Kibler can still have a kit ready by the class or not, you'll have to call him to see.
We are also doing a Lancaster from a plank sometime in October, we are only taking five students for this and I think we have 2 or 3 already. Get signed up now before the class is full.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Lora unfortunately is no long with the NMLRA.  Friday of last week was her last day.

Anyone that answers the phone should be able to help you sign up for the class.   If you have any issues, let me know.

Thanks

If someone is interested and doesn't already have a kit, I'm sure we'll be able to fix you up with something.

It seems Lora is still with the NMLRA? But, call and leave a message with anybody that answers. If  it's for the Kibler kit class or the plank class, we need to know if we'll have enough people to make those classes work.

Cost of parts will be $850-ish. Class fee is undecided yet, probably $500-$700 range.

Last week Lora was on vacation.   I believe that she will be working perhaps one day a week for a while to help with the transition.   Not 100A% sure on that.

If you run into snags with signing up for the classes let me know, and perhaps I can help out.

Fleener,

I had had contact with Wayne on here and talked to Lora on the phone last month. She had taken down my name for the class, I called today and Dianna asked me to call back on Friday, as Lora is in the office.

Hoping Lora still has my name and info, but let me know if I need to do anything else. Super excited to learn in the class!

What is the class format going to be? A set number of days straight?

5 days. You won't have your gun done at the end of the first class. There will be following classes every couple months to finish your gun.

Mike, you and Wayne know the dates yet? Believe I am on Lora's list

Thanks,
