The more I look at this, the more I see, and the more I covet.
The artwork is splendidly done, and totally fitting for a prime hunting firearm. I would presume that the exterior of the trigger guard is done in the same manner.
When did back-action locks appear, and by whom at first? And when did they become really popular? I have several of them, and am building a Deringer pistol in .50 cal which uses a BA lock.
Still wanting this Kavenaugh rifle!
