  i'm getting ready to install my lock and was wondering how many of you guys drill and install the flash hole liner before you do the lock mortice? for years i've did the lock before drilling the flash hole and was wondering if i did it wrong for all those years.

I like to mark the barrel as close as I can for the center of the liner then inlet the lock and then install the liner hoping it goes where I had planed.  ;D
