Molly if C.C.F. nose is working. He will contact you. He has a better nose than a Plott hound for sniffing out Tennessee or any other southern gun for that matter.... LOL.

It's a fine looking rifle. This period of identification seems to be the fun part, when you buy one. Looks Tennessee from what little I know.

The wood definitely is maple.
The view down from the top at the breech raises questions in my mind. It looks like the barrel was welded, but I don't have it in hand.
