Joe Schell rifleman's knife
« on: July 01, 2021, 12:04:14 AM »
Got a new play pretty in this afternoon. Its a Joe Schell hand forged knife. The blade is 8 inch with a 4 an a half inch antler shed that I found in my neck of the woods an sent to Joe. The guard is forged from a link of old wrought iron chain that joe found at his place an he estimates  very late 1800s or early 1900s possibly. Either way its old an wrought iron. I have quite a few of Joes knives an all of them hold an edge an are sent ready to shave your whiskers. Excuse my photos as I sure am not a photographer. The other knife is a Schell too just a wee tad smaller.

Nice rifleman's knife by Joe. I have several of Joe's knives they really hold an edge. Quality work for sure. Glad to see Joe is back at the forge. Guess he got his shop put back together. Tim
