Early Style Horn With Repair

  It is about 11 1/2" around the outside curve. The 2 1/2" butt is Pine held with four wooden pegs. The repair is over a soft spot, made of a piece of Deer hide.

"Muskrat Mike" is a very happy camper. I just talked Tim out of this horn! It is going to be part of the kit to go with my Don Bruton made .54 caliber "cobbled" together rifle. HOORAY!

Nice horn!

Did you use glue for hide repair or just the stitches?

 Yes, there is a coat of glue on the leather.
